It is time to celebrate the month that is in honor of all heroic African American people: Black History Month. We all honor different African American people who fought for equality, integration, civil rights, etc. The one that I honor is Harriet Tubman who fought to free over 300 slaves by using the Underground Railroad. There are other African American heroes whom
I admire for their bravery: Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, etc. These people fought for the rights of Black Americans, and they have inspired other people to do the same. These people have created a legacy that people still honor to this day. This month, I suggest that we all celebrate Black History.
